Vacation Post #7....Casper, Wyoming

We left Nebraska on June 23rd after enjoying a nice hot breakfast buffet at the Quality Inn in North Platte. Onward to Wyoming. We made excellent time, ate lunch at McDonalds in Cheyenne and arrived in Casper around 2pm. The kids were eager to see their cousins and they enjoyed playing in the backyard.
The little pool was also a hit!
Later a walk to the local park was in order. Madison and Timothy (both 4 1/2) leading the way.
We got them started on picking up small sticks for kindling and they were on a mission. We ended up with an entire wagon full.
Madsion and Savannah (2 1/2) enjoying their pizza at the girls' table.
A wagon ride for the little ones.
Relaxing after baths. Jason really enjoying sitting next to Timothy.
And Carson.
The next day we spent some time at a few parks and a swimming pool and the rest of the day was filled with laundry and repacking as we prepared for our Friday departure to Powell and then heading to the Tetons.
Madison showing off her jumping skills at the pool....It was great because the depth in this area was only 2 ft. 4 in so even the little ones could stand in there with no problems.
Savannah making sure she doesn't get a sunburn. Jodi and I were obviously enjoying the sun during this moment!
Carson carefully considering the depth.
A tire swing was thoroughly enjoyed by Timothy and Madison.
And a video to capture their enthusiasm. Pay close attention to Madion's one-way conversation with Timothy as she boasts about her daddy's strength.
