Jason--3 months old

Jason continues to be such a bundle of joy. He is now 3 months old and weighs 13 pounds 13 ounces. He is quick to smile or talk to anyone who will pay attention or even look his way.

Check out those dimples.
Another great dimple shot.
One afternoon while the other two were sleeping I fed Jason and then sat him in the boppy on our bed so I could take a shower. I was getting ready and I looked out of the bathroom and there he was sound asleep. So precious.
Madison loves to climb onto the end table so she can see Jason laying in the pack and play. Many times she can get him to talk back to her as in this video. Sorry that it's sideways--I couldn't figure out how to rotate it?? Anyone have the answer?

Here's another one of Jason talking and laughing. It starts off pretty lame but about 30 seconds into it he really gets going. Once again, I'm the newbie at this--is there a way to edit my videos so I don't have to upload the boring parts?

A Great Mommy Someday

Madison is so into her dolls and her kitchen. When she really gets into it she can play pretend for a long time. Here are some pictures and videos of the future mom.

Sitting at the table to prepare a meal.
Rocking her baby while she feeds her.
Dancing with two babies to calm and comfort them.

And you can see in this clip that Madison has mastered the fine art of cell phone usage.

Grammy and Grandpa Visit

Every 6 to 8 weeks or so we are blessed to have Grammy and sometimes Grandpa visit. Grammy is definitely the picture warrior of the family and she never leaves without one hundred or more images on her camera. Sometimes I can go days or even weeks without taking a picture (I know-shameful!) so Grammy's shots get downloaded straight to my computer! Here are some of the great shots that were captured that first weekend in April.

Madison, Carson and Jason with some very happy morning shots as they were so excited to see Grammy and Grandpa.

A rare moment--Madison and Carson sitting within 5 feet of one another and not annoying one another. Madison has recently developed a love for putting puzzles together and she is quick. Carson is trying to be just like his big sister.

Girls Night Out--We girlies got to go out for an evening on our own. We stopped by Ledo's for dinner and then enjoyed the youth of our church put on an amazing performance of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." I couldn't believe how still Madison sat on my lap for the entire performance. At intermission and when it ended she turned to me and asked for more!
Grandpa, Grammy, and all the grandkids before church.
A special moment between Grandpa and Jason. It won't be long and I won't be able to put all three of them in the rocking chair!

Madison and Carson Happenings

Over the last month Madison and Carson have remained busy as always. Here are a few of my recent pictures of them.

Madison as cute as a button with her pigtails.
Carson and Daddy enjoying a moment together on Easter. He is our constant drooler. I can't even count the number of bibs we've gone through with him.

Here's how Madison keeps herself busy while she's sitting on the potty. I've learned not to walk away for any length of time!Carson and Madison and even Jason have been suffering from a nasty cough and cold recently. Carson also had an ear infection. It's pretty rare to see Carson sitting this still on the couch but he was pretty wiped out from the infection.

On Monday Madison and Carson's energy levels were pretty much back to normal although their coughs remain. Why pull the toys out of the toy box when you can just climb in and enjoy them on the inside?

The Youngest Pier Member

Jason continues to grow and grow. At 2 1/2 months he's actually too big for some of the 3 to 6 month sleepers. If he continues to grow at such a fast rate he won't fit into most of the summer clothes that Carson wore last summer. Here are a few shots of him. It is obvious that he loves his bath time as much as Madison and Carson did as babies.

He'll make a fine hunter one day, don't you think?

This one is so precious. I had Jason with me as I was putting Madison to bed one night. I laid him down next to her so I could read a story to her and they were so cozy. Notice the smile hidden behind his pacifier?
