Jackson William....3/17 to 3/25
Jackson continued to grow strong....here he's doing a little flexing for us at 2 1/2 months!
And a little stretching before bathtime.
And his smiles were super impressive by this point....
Even the slight grins!
Carson (and sometimes Jason) were always close by.....Carson is sharing his pillow with Jackson as they lay on the play mat.
Still in his carseat after church but what a cute little stretch!
A shot of the boys.....Jackson looks a little concerned!
Just hanging out in the baby seat...by this point his 0-3 months clothes were beginning to get a little on the small side.
Sucking his thumb just for a moment.

Jackson....2 months old
Wow, where did the time go? Jackson began giving us random smiles around 7 weeks of age and continued to grow so much. At his 2 month check up he weighed 12 pounds, 11 ounces...he had gained 2 pounds 7 ounces in a month! He still continued to take a lot of naps throughout the day and in various places. Here's one in the infant seat.
A half smile.
This one was taken on March 3rd...exactly 2 months old....he's thrilled about it, can't you tell.
Now, very interested in the mobile of his swing....even "talking" to the animals.
And also interested in the baby gym....Madison loves to hang out with him.
And he's more aware of the camera!
One evening we even put him in charge of the remote....he's pretty happy about that.

All Things Related to the Bigger Kids
While I'm tending to Jackson, or doing laundry, or cooking a meal, the other 3 kiddos are working hard to make a mess. Legos are a favorite now (did they really have those really small pieces when we were kids?).
And thank goodness Trio Blocks aren't quite so small.
One of Carson's creations. (Actually the bottom half was built by an adult....Carson made some adjustments to the top).
And he's very proud of himself!
Now that we've had a few nice days in the last month or so we have made it outside for a short time. Madison works on her t-ball skills.

Grammy and Grandpa Visit February 2011
At the end of February Grammy came back to visit and this time she brought Grandpa along.

It was even nice enough to play outside a little while.

Anywhere is a Good Place for a Nap....
To say that Carson has interesting naptime habits is an understatement! Typically he'll spend the first 15 to 20 minutes of his "quiet time" straightening and organizing his own bed (the one on right). Usually this means putting all of his stuffed animals in just the right place on his bed and sometimes he'll add in some cars and trucks. On this day, for some reason, he skipped that step. Then he'll climb into Jason's bed (the one on the left) to nap....for he wouldn't want to now mess up his own bed...can you say OCD? For whatever reason he decided that the floor was the better option on this particular day...he's propped up against a large stuffed horse and is peacefully asleep. We noticed this unique pose on our video monitor so I stopped in to get a picture. But do notice....he did not use his own comforter as a cover....he is using Jason's blanket as well as some blankets we use to cover up the window!
